2012 NGA GAS OPERATIONS SCHOOL


The Annual Gas Operations School of the Northeast Gas Association (NGA) is one of the best-attended operations events in the Eastern United States. Held each June, the school provides education, hands-on-training, a major vendor exhibit, and industry networking.

The 2011 School was held June 7-10, 2011 at Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island.


Over 550 people registered for the June 2011 event, and the 2-day vendor exhibit was sold out.

The curriculum areas were:
  • Gas Industry Fundamentals;
  • Safety;
  • Customer Service;
  • Maintenance;
  • Construction;
  • Gas Supply; and
  • Corrosion Control.



2012 Gas Operations School Committee
